You’ve left me here,
and I hope I never see you again;

I lay here with only
my tears to comfort me.
These salty streams I cannot dam
are for you.
I hope you deserve them.
I say good bye
to the stony-faced coward
who cried no tears.
I have loved you
with my whole soul
