I’ve loved you now for many years
And on my cheeks I’ve shed countless tears.
Although I’ve known it’s been in vain
My poor heart aches and is full of pain.
Pain of rejected love.
Rejected love as broken my heart,
It’s torn my very soul apart.
The torment and anguish is unbearable,
It’s made my life almost unliveable.
