FRIGHT AT NIGHT
The lightening flashed, the thunder rolled,
And day turned into night.
Mother nature’s awesome power,
Gave me such a shocking fright.
My poor legs turned to jelly,
My eyes rolled just like a dice.
I dived under the table,
And said my prayers twice.
It rained that many cats and dogs,
So I telephoned my local vet.
But the coward wouldn’t turn out,
Because he didn’t like getting wet.
