BOMB SHELLING

In the heart of chaos, the bomb did descend,
Its diameter thirty centimeters, a fiery trend,
Seven meters wide, its reach of dread,
Four souls perished, eleven wounded, it said.

Within this circle of pain and despair,
Two hospitals stand, a loving, healing pair,
And there, a graveyard where memories are kept,
In the city's embrace, where many have wept.

But beyond this boundary, a story unfolds,
A young woman's resting place, her tale untold,
Over a hundred kilometers from this space,
Her memory expands, connecting time and place.

A solitary man, on distant shores he grieves,
Mourning her loss, his heart in heavy heaves,
Across the vast sea, a world he does include,
In the circle of sorrow, their bond renewed.

And we must not forget the orphan's cry,
Reaching to God's throne, where angels fly,
A circle infinite, with no end or start,
No God can ignore the cries that break a heart.
