SACRED PALESTINE
A tapestry of faiths, their histories we tell,
For in this ancient land, where prayers and dreams reside,
Sacred for all religions, side by side.
In Bethlehem's manger, where a child was born,
A Christian tale, with hope and love adorned,
A symbol of salvation, a guiding star,
From near and far, they've traveled to where you are.
Jerusalem, a city with stones that have heard,
The echoes of countless prayers, every sacred word,
For Jews, the Western Wall, a place to weep and pray,
A connection to their past, where devotion lights the way.
To Muslims, Al-Aqsa Mosque stands in grace,
A sacred place of worship, where believers find their space,
The Prophet's Night Journey, from here it took flight,
A spiritual ascent, through the heavens, so bright.
From Hebron to Nablus, and Jericho's ancient call,
The stories in the land, they captivate us all,
For Samaritans, Druze, and more, it's clear,
Palestine's heritage is cherished, far and near.
In olive groves, where ancient trees still stand,
Their roots reach deep into the hallowed land,
A symbol of peace and resilience, so true,
For all who seek solace, beneath their shade anew.
For every soul who walks this sacred ground,
Their beliefs and stories, forever bound,
In unity and love, they all entwine,
In Palestine's embrace, a bond divine.
So let us honor and respect the faiths that meet,
In Palestine's heart, where their stories entreat,
For in this tapestry of cultures, beliefs, and song,
The sacredness of Palestine remains forever strong.
