ECHOES OF FORGOTTEN WORDS

In the realm of withered dreams and forgotten rhymes,
Lies a tale of love, now lost in desolate times.
Once, vibrant verses adorned our tender hearts,
Igniting flames of passion with poetic arts.

Oh, how your eyes danced with fiery desire,
Kindling love's embers, setting souls on fire.
In your gaze, a fusion of ardor and grace,
We believed we'd found heaven in love's embrace.

But alas, the ink of passion started to fade,
As your interest waned, a love once so carefully laid.
The written words, once cherished and adored,
Became a relic of the past you simply ignored.

I altered the fonts, the colors, and the prose,
Yearning for your attention, trying to compose.
Yet your hunger grew for tales yet untold,
Leaving my words to wither, lifeless and cold.

The ink of my heart bled on the page in vain,
As your longing shifted to the allure of the new and mundane.
Mercilessly, you abandoned my tender plea,
Leaving my written words dried, lifeless, and empty.

But let not my words mourn their lonely fate,
For new stories await, on the horizon, they wait.
In the tapestry of life, new verses shall bloom,
Breathing life into emotions, dispelling gloom.

So I bid farewell to the dried and lifeless ink,
With renewed vigor, my spirit shall rethink.
For the beauty of my words shall rise once again,
And find their meaning, in hearts ready to sustain.

Though you've forsaken the magic that we shared,
Within my verses, love shall forever be bared.
Dried lifeless, they may be, in memories confined,
But new stories shall flourish, leaving the past behind.
