FADE
I beheld a world in a fleeting trance.
But alas, the memories gently cascade,
Like wisps of smoke, they begin to fade.
Not into darkness, nor abyssal night,
But into a grayness, soft and light.
An ethereal realm, just within reach,
Where possibilities linger, waiting to teach.
A purgatory of sorts, betwixt and between,
Where hopes and desires remain unseen.
As dawn approached, the world stirred awake,
Yet, I yearned for the gray to further partake.
With closed eyes, I sought a moment's stay,
Beseeching the haze to linger one more day.
And it whispered softly, a promise to keep,
"I shall return tomorrow while you sleep."
So, I opened my eyes to the waking morn,
Embracing the stillness that was newly born.
Assured that today would be tranquil and serene,
I set my gaze on life's simplest scene.
The azure sky stretched far and wide,
The emerald grass swayed with gentle pride.
And amidst it all, birds soared on the breeze,
Unassuming oracles, whispering with ease.
In their flight, secrets of existence unfold,
Life's complex answers, yet to be told.
They fluttered and weaved, painting the air,
Revealing truths my dreams strive to share.
For in nature's embrace, in earth and sky,
Lies wisdom profound, that cannot belie.
Amidst the beauty that surrounds our days,
Lie tranquil answers, in nature's gentle ways.
So, let dreams fade into the hazy gray,
For wisdom resides in nature's ballet.
And as I bask in this peaceful retreat,
I find solace in answers, simple and sweet.
In the tapestry of life, where complexities reside,
Fade not into obscurity, but let your spirit guide.
Embrace the beauty that nature bestows,
And find serenity where answers repose.
